It's true isn't it?
I had a piece of battenberg today for the first time in quite a while and that marzipan never fails to deliver! I was a big fan as a child and I'm still the same now at the age of 28.

A bit far-fetched? Maybe.
Anyway, do kids today still eat battenberg cake? Is it old skool? I don't know, but I love it!
Isn't this from a piece in the Sun the other day when they were wondering whether something will be made to celebrate Wills and Kate's wedding.
ReplyDeleteI am sure Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal, Gordon Ramsay and the huge plethora of TV chefs will come up with something.
And like you, I love battenburg as well, though I eat it more often than you, by the look of it, but then I am like Marjorie Dawes as I just love cake, cake, cake....
At least with Battenburg, you CAN have your cake and eat it.... hehehehe.
More of my humour is on the Wiggy's Facebook page. I was in my element today.
i feel like eating, send me a lot of them!!!
